We've gotten through opening gifts sent by folks -- as some of you will know or remember we save our own family gift exchange for around Jan 6, 12th Night, or Saturnalia, or whatever else anyone wants to call it. The fixed winter holiday in my house.

Wilma sent a Christmas Dress set for Logan and Apple Pie Eater, which they wore to Nonny Susan's last night, but haven't changed back in to for today. I'll work on that later on to get a picture to post. She also sent gift certificates for books or coffee supplies (depending on whose it was) which will be used with great glee.

My folks and Cheryl sent jewelry and stamps and puppets and puzzles and books and clothes, many of which were investigated immediately, slowing down even Logan's "what next" itinerary for a bit. (Logan felt the need to arrange all the stamps into one long line at one point, which I think you can see in one of the pictures.) Also an OMG Music Thingy, which John and I haven't investigated fully yet, but which looks like a great device. Oh, and two hand crank flashlights, which John and I will put our names on and stash out of Logan's reach, I hope. John had seen the flashlights advertised somewhere, and was very happy to have one. I haven't gotten in to mine yet, I'm posting pictures instead.

After the storm (it was slow, really), John objects
to how he looks in this picture, on principle.

Not that I promise to get to a post number two today, mind you. We'll see. I'm not expecting today to be as crazy as some are.

So far all we've managed are stockings. Logan is now going out to feed with John to use up some small bit or the excitement and asthma medicine induced need to move. Then we'll eat something. Then we'll open the gifts sent by Wilma, my folks, and sister, and the things Logan has wrapped for the dogs and cat.

Special for the photo, Logan moved to the side, and put on
clothing, all without getting off the table.

Stocking exploration in progress

Elf? Elf! Can you find the elf?

Cool stockings! We're looking at the photos while we open your presents at my house. Not through everything yet, so this might be a part one post, too.

Enjoy your day! --Auntie Cheryl, with the folks and her Mike
